Happy Valentine's Day PomPom!

Happy Valentine's Day to you all!
I have lots of photos in store for you!

First up: pretty flowers. Aren't these carnations stunning? The photos are definitely something to proud of (I took them).

These are the Valentine roses we bought for my mom. Notice the adorable pig. I put it there, and it certainly does add a little something to the flowers.

Hehe! This is an absolutely cute couple of bears showing off their Valentine spirit.
Here's where PomPom comes in...

Minnie and Marie were already equipped with bows and PomPom didn't have one. Of course I had to add one! And doesn't he look good?

Alas, PomPom doesn't agree.
PomPom: Why do I have to wear this bow? I'm a boy you know. Wait - what? It's for the blog? Okay fine *poses*.

When it comes to taking pictures, the blog is always the number one priority in PomPom's eyes.

Now here comes the fun part. Try to find a rose in each of the following photos. I'll admit, most of them are quite easy. But have fun anyways.

 Group pic!

Haha, this one was too funny to miss getting a close-up of.
Marie: Is that...a rose? On my head?! POMPOM!

I'll leave off with the ever so innocent Baymax.

Um, I have a rose and I've always been meaning to... you know...

Would you please accept my rose?

Yeah okay. You can take it now.

Hi! I'm still here...

After so many days of not posting, I think you guys deserve a full post. I promise I won't disappoint!

Oh dear...once again, this image is sideways. Sorry!

All aboard the PomPom express! PomPom, you do know that you're supposed to be facing the other way, right?
What do you mean? This is the right way...

Of course I had to get close-up pics. They are so cute!

Olaf and Sven...

And here's our big star of the night [drumroll] Baymax! After watching Disney's animated film Big Hero 6, I fell in love with him! His charm, innocence, and CUTENESS!

But, PomPom is getting a little jealous of him. Actually, "little" might be an understatement.

PomPom the train conductor, sitting in the wrong seat, facing the wrong way.

Ah ha! Recently, we got a lot of snow. So, I decided to go out and build a snow kitty! It's loosely based off of Hello Kitty. Tell me what you think!

Unfortunately, we had to bear with 2 more feet of snow attacking us. Snow kitty got buried up to her neck.

I leave you with a final glimpse of a stare off between PomPom and Baymax (I know, Baymax can stand! Is it bad that I got super excited over that?).

I hope you enjoyed them! Au revoir!

P.S. I had to put that in because I noticed some French visitors had seen my blog  -_-

How to Speak PomPom Language

Hello! I'm excited to share with you a lesson on how to speak PomPom language. Although he is a boy, it just so happens that he actually has a high-pitched voice. But first, the photos.

PomPom and I are doing the middle splits. Simultaneously, PomPom is acting as a chin cushion (and a very comfortable one at that!)

Please don't ask how I came to see PomPom like this. He fell off the couch by himself!

Haha...creepy and cute upside-down PomPom face. Aren't his eyes lovely though?

Hello Kitty 1 and 2 have come to join the PomPom club - for the fabulously cute!

This picture might not seem so special. But I think PomPom looks especially cute when he's like this.

Finally, I present to you a short-necked giraffe wearing a panda hat. How ironic...

Now to the fun stuff:
Important things to note when speaking PomPom language
  • PomPom's voice is high-pitched!
  • "S"'s are always pronounced like "sh". Ex) "something" is "shum-shing"
  • "Th-"'s are also pronounced like "sh".
  • If there is an "-le" (or a sound similar to that) at the end of a word such as "possible" or "invisible", pucker up your lips to make a "boh" sound.
  • When a word has an "ea" combination, heavily emphasize both of these vowel sounds. For example, in the word "really", it would sound like: ree-ah-lee"
  • Instead of using "I", PomPom uses "me" (except when asking if he's cute. Of course THAT has to be in proper English grammar). Ex) Me like grapes.
In PomPom language, there are some words that are exceptions.
  • Grapes are prounounced "grah-pees". It rhymes with "happy".
  • Oranges are pronounced "or-AN-gees".
  • Google is "joo-AW-gul"
  • Amazon is "a-MAA-zon"
  • Yahoo is "yay-hoo"
Anyways, if this is confusing, don't worry about it. After all, PomPom is pretty confusing.

Happy New Year's Eve!

We visited NYC over break and SOMEBODY decided to tag along with us. Of course it's PomPom (no questions asked)!
We'll start with some photos of PomPom and his stuffed friends:

I got a baby Sven for Christmas and he's getting along quite well with Olaf.

Minnie and Marie are playing an intense game of Forbidden Island - another Christmas gift put quickly to use.

This is PomPom getting ready to go. Once again, he's in a Victoria's Secret tote bag.

Poor PomPom had no other place to sit except for the floor.

PomPom reclining at the hotel as we checked in. I did see some funny glances our way...

And in our hotel room...

PomPom is all zipped up but reluctant to leave.
(There are more pics to come with PomPom in Times Square!)

Enough of PomPom. Here are some photos I took inside the city:

So cute. <3

I'm sure you can tell from this picture that this tree is huge. Gigantic. A monstrosity (sorry, getting a little dramatic)! But I'll repeat it one more time... this tree is HUGE.

Grand Central!

Times Square!

I'm proud of this picture. Why? It's so sharp and clear, and yet it was taken on a moving car!

Recently, I'm been going into phases. One of these phases is my fashion phase. Inspired by a 13-year old prodigy, Isabella Rose Taylor (whose collection made it to fashion week in New York and is currently selling in stores such as Nordstrom), I decided to design my own clothes. I really don't know why the photos are sideways though. Hopefully you can still enjoy them. Tell me what you think!

Uh-oh, this one is upside down. *Sheepish grin*

Another one of those phases that I mentioned earlier was a Lord of the Rings phase. I had one 2 years ago when I was reading the trilogy (I read it through twice!), but after watching the most recent Hobbit film (The Battle of the Five Armies), I fear another one is coming.
So what do you get when you combine your favorite stuffed animal with a LOTR obsession?
MY PRECIOUSSSSSSS

He's a much cuter version of Sméagol (or Gollum if you will).
I do believe that was the longest post I've ever written!
Anyways, be sure to look out for some more photos of PomPom in Times Square, my oncoming fashion designs, and perhaps other LOTR-related humor.
