The Holiday Mood

AAH! I broke my promise again... But there should be more posts as the holidays arrive. PomPom is starting to get into that holiday mood already.

Somebody stole my pair of leather gloves. Don't you think he looks like a dog?

It's rather disgusting, but it appears that PomPom has stuffed an actual pompom in his nose. He thought it was funny: "It tickles, heehee!" (meanwhile, I'm shaking my head in exasperation ;) )

Ah ha! I was wondering why my gloves went missing - a second time. Peek-a-boo! I see you!

 "I can't see you, so you can't see me." Huh, that's funny. Then why do I see a chubby mass of orange and cream fur that looks suspiciously like a PomPom?

 Originally, my parents had promised me that we would buy the Christmas tree on Sunday. But after I came home from an extracurricular class on Sunday, they had changed their minds. I was crestfallen! I had been looking forward to that in AGES, anticipating the moment when we would decorate the tree and bask in its beauty.
As soon as I came home though, I was so surprised and delighted to see this:

 The tree was already there, waiting for me! Furthermore, it was already lighted! I was jumping up and down and squealing with my excitement and happiness! I gathered up the ornaments, and soon the tree was adorned within a matter of minutes. I'm very proud.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving break is almost over and I'm back in the blogging world.
As usual, PomPom is up to no good. Nope, Thanksgiving is no exception.
 

What are you playing at PomPom? No more tying knots in my necklaces.

 Sorry about the sideways photo...but this is a fruit platter that I made myself.

 For once, it was sunny. PomPom took advantage of the warmth by doing some butt tanning!

 He set himself up quite comfortably.

Up to More Mischief

Hello everyone! PomPom is up to more mischief again. I'll let you see for yourself.

We recently bought a whole ton of grapes. For those of you who've seen some of my earlier posts, you already know PomPom's slight obsession with grapes. He's guarding them.
 

I came home one day and was quite startled to find PomPom hanging from the coat hanger. Why was he up there? If it was to pretend to be a coat, then his "disguise" wasn't very effective.

PomPom having a stare-off with his fellow ducks. It was going on FOREVER until I paused it. PomPom still insisted that I declare him the winner though. Typical PomPom.
 

The final treat of the day, PomPom Monet! Notice the upside down painting (as a matter of fact, I painted that as a study on Edward Monet).

Happy Halloween!

Happy *really belated* Halloween!
The guilt has been gnawing at me.. I haven't posted in AGES! Even PomPom is getting quite anxious - for his cute reputation of course! But for today I have gathered some moments that'll be sure to make you forgive me.

 PomPom claims that sophisticated giraffes appreciate coffee. So he's trying it out. But whoever said that they had to wear caps?

 I was surprised to find PomPom in the bed, snoring softly.

 PomPom stuffing himself like a pig.

This is my Hello Kitty pumpkin that I carved myself. I'm so proud!

 

 

And look, there's PomPom, Marie, and Minnie in their ravishing costumes. They're guarding the candy. Thankfully, even PomPom is taking his job seriously.

 

 

Yep - that's me in my "evil fairy" costume. It was my second time doing my own makeup, and frankly it turned out pretty well. I think. :-)

Creative PomPom

Hi! Again, a while since I posted, but luckily for today I've collected some extra amusing photos of PomPom. PomPom loves to mess around with stuff around the house, including clothes. PomPom (being creative as he is) decided to put those articles to a different use...
